As is so often the case in D/s marriages, there are ebbs and flows with the levels of Dominance and submission. In our marriage, this happens when 'life' gets in the way. I have been busy at work, broke my thumb and cracked my wrist, j has been working hard to line up a better job, and our kids have had their miscellaneous things going on. Nonetheless, the summer promises to be relaxing and I hope to have much more time to enjoy my wonderful submissive, as well as more time to blog.
Despite our occasional hiatuses (is that a word?) from the lifestyle, j does his best to maintain a constant level of submission. He wears his anklets and panties all the time. He frequently gives me pedicures and massages my feet, he makes me breakfast whenever we are home, and he generally maintains his thoughtful attitude. I like this level of continuity- it gives me a constant feeling that I am his Queen, and at the same time I don't feel the need to be overtly Dominant if I am not in the mood.
We had a few days where he had the day off while I was working. Each and every day, when I returned home, he greeted me wearing a black leather jock strap, his training collar and anklets. It is incredibly arousing for me to know that he 'slaves' away at home while I am out.
